MonadCloud LLC in Rindge is offering three new products to help bring cloud data storage capacity to smaller businesses.
“Data storage needs are escalating exponentially and deploying local storage clouds offers a way to respond to those needs in a cost-effective and easy-to-use manner,” MonadCloud principal Tim Wessels said in a news release.
MonadCloud’s “You Can Have Your Own Cloud” is a design-and-build service that provides municipalities, universities, hospitals, small and medium-size enterprises with private storage clouds scaled specifically to their needs. These private clouds can then be managed by an internal IT department.
Wessels says that Internet Service Providers can also work with MonadCloud to build their own cloud storage facilities and offer cloud storage to their customers.
The third new market for MonadCloud’s services is Managed Services Providers (MSPs) who want to offer cloud storage services to their customers or who have customers who want their MSP to manage their private storage cloud. “We can build a storage cloud for a client or we can build a storage cloud for a client’s client,” says Wessels. We have the skills to help an MSP assess the storage needs of their clients and design a multi-tenant storage cloud, which the MSP can offer to them as a service.
